ABOUT US
Our History
In 2010, there were over 4,000 dogs and cats euthanized at the City of Midland's shelter. Community leaders and animal welfare advocates Susie Hitchcock-Hall, LuAnn Morgan, and Paul O’Neill decided to step in and do something about it.
They set out with a clear and simple mission: to give these cats and dogs a second chance.
Together, they founded Midland Humane Coalition (MHC) with a mission to rescue healthy, adoptable pets from the euthanasia list and help find them permanent homes.
