Annual Events
We host these annual events primarily to raise important funds for our pet rescue operations. We've designed these events to bring our community together so that we can create awareness around MHC and our mission to help Midland's homeless pets.
Furr Ball
The Furr Ball has been hosted by Midland Humane Coalition as an annual fundraiser since 2010. It's one of our biggest fundraisers which brings in funds for operations that benefit our rescued pets at our Enhanced Adoption Center.
It brings members of the community together for a fun-filled night of dining, dancing, auctions and games! We hope you would join us for the next Furr Ball.

Hot Dog Run
The Annual Hot Dog Run is an annual fundraiser that has been hosted by Midland Humane Coalition since 2015.
It is a 5K and 1 mile walk/run that is open to people and pets of all ages. An average of over 350 runners participate in this event yearly. There are also fun post-race activities and contests for pets. It is a fun community event that people look forward to year after year.

National Adoption Weekends
Each year, in collaboration with PetSmart Charities and several local rescue groups, we hold National Adoption Weekend events every quarter to promote pet adoption!
In 2019, the Adoption Weekend dates are:
February 22-24
May 17 -19
September 13-15
November 8-10
On these dates, there will be more pets in one location to pick from. Come to our Adoption Center inside PetSmart to find your perfect match!
