She has been instrumental to the success of MHC’s annual fundraising run, Hot Dog Run, now in its 11th year! Tasha has also volunteered with other animal rescue groups such as Midland Animal Services Adoptables (MASA), Project Freedom Ride, and Midland Animal Services advisory board. In her spare time, she offers her services as a volunteer pet photographer to help get pets adopted. Tasha’s animal rescue journey began in 2015 when she encountered a stray Heeler dog living in a field. Together with a group of volunteers, she spent 8 months trying to trap and bring the stray into a shelter safely, but ended up adopting the dog (now called Kodi) herself. Since then, she has dedicated herself to animal rescue efforts. Sport was born and raised in Midland where she now lives with her husband, son, 4 dogs and 4 cats. |
