Katrina Mendenhall is a wife, mother of two, and multiple small business owner. Her main business specializes in safety training in the Oil and gas industry. Katrina has always enjoyed starting and running businesses. In fact, by the time she was 27, she had started her first business, which she still has 13 years later. She has also owned and operated other businesses in the Permian Basin.
Katrina owns and operates Spartan Consulting & Safety, LLC, which provides Safety Training in the oil and gas industry, specializing in Crane Operator certification. Katrina is originally from Odessa, graduated from Odessa High in 2003, and attended TEEX Texas A&M extension Service to obtain her CSHO (certified safety and health official) in 2018 for general industry and 2019 for construction. She has been a contract instructor for these programs since 2020 and teaches at New Mexico Junior College. She moved to Midland with her husband in 2009. Katrina‘s daughter is 16, and her son is 8. They have two dogs and two rescue kitties. In the summertime, Katrina spends her weekends at the lake in Brownwood. She’s also involved with many charity golf tournaments and events throughout the Permian basin. Katrina is excited to join the Midland Humane Coalition as the Treasurer in 2025 |
