WHAT IS HOT DOG RUN?
Hot Dog Run is designed to be a fun-filled experience for community members from all walks of life - from running and fitness enthusiasts, pet lovers, families and kids, to dogs of all breeds and sizes! This unique dog-friendly race allows race participants to run or walk alongside their four-legged buddies.
WHY HOT DOG RUN?
Hot Dog Run is one of Midland Humane Coalition’s biggest fundraisers each year. It raises important funds that fuel our operations at the Adoption Center. MHC’s mission is to rescue healthy, adoptable pets from euthanasia and find them furr-ever homes. We also provide much-needed resources to the community such as low-cost Shot & Microchip Clinics and educate the public on responsible pet ownership, proper pet care, and humane alternatives to surrendering pets.

We had a record-breaking 391 participants during this year's 5th Annual Hot Dog Run in 2019 - the most we've ever had and that's not counting the dogs and kids!

COSTUME COMPETITION
The Costume Competition is one of the most popular events each year! Right after the races, we like to kick back and enjoy the cutest and most colorful parade ever!
There are three categories in the competition - Best Pet Costume, Best Trick, Best Pet/Parent Costume.
Whether you come fully prepared with your bag of tricks or simply don matching/complementary outfits with your 4-legged partner-in-crime, we invite you to come and join the fun!
