​We are currently looking for the following:

Adoption Coordinator
Your role will be to support MHC's lifesaving mission by matching pets with adopters, guiding them through the process, and ensuring every animal finds the right home.

• Must be 21+, reliable, organized, professional, and comfortable working with cats and dogs.
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9AM–5PM, and every other weekend, 9AM–5PM.
• Respond to all calls, texts, emails, and adoption inquiries daily.
• Review adoption applications thoroughly--no unanswered questions and all required signatures must be completed.
• Ensure adopters/fosters receive required paperwork and copies.
• Coordinate applications, meet-and-greets, adoption trials, foster-to-adopts, and final adoptions.
• Know each animal’s personality, medical status, and compatibility with people, children, cats, and dogs.
• Follow all animal-handling and safety policies. Never leave animals unsupervised during introductions.
• Maintain accurate adoption records, contracts, and medical/vaccine information.
• Follow up with adopters and foster families during trials.
• Communicate professionally and report any medical, behavioral, safety, or placement concerns to management immediately.
• Assist with adoption events, animal photos/bios, and adoption marketing.
• No policy exceptions, promises, or approvals outside of MHC guidelines without management approval.
• Prioritize the safety and well-being of every animal.
• Failure to follow MHC policies, safety procedures, or job expectations may result in disciplinary action.

Part-Time Kennel Tech
You will work directly with animals, helping to ensure that rescue cats & dogs are 100% ready for their forever homes.

Your responsibilities: 
🐾 Provide daily care, food, and water for our furry friends.
🐾Ensure kennels and living spaces are clean, safe, and comfortable.
🐾 Offer love, affection, and enrichment to animals in need.
🐾Assist with monitoring animal health and behavior.
