Vaccine List

Here is a list of vaccines that we administer during our Shot Clinics.

Canine Vaccines

DAPPv
A multi-purpose 1-year vaccine that protects against distemper, parainfluenza and all strains of canine parvovirus (CPV).

Features and Benefits
    •    Protects against all known strains of CPV, including CPV-2c
    •    Contains CPV-2b, the most prevalent field strain of parvovirus
    •    High antigenic mass (titer), low passage parvovirus vaccine
    •    Overrides maternal antibodies in young puppies
    •    Protects against 2 types of adenovirus that cause hepatitis and respiratory disease in dogs
    •    Provides disease coverage for commonly spread canine viruses, distemper, and parainfluenza, in 1 formula.

Intra-Trac 3
A proven 1-year intranasal vaccine that provides triple protection against the agents implicated in the cause of tracheobronchitis (“canine cough”).

Features and Benefits
    •    Protects against Bordetella, canine parainfluenza virus, and canine adenovirus type
    •    Offers the superior benefits of intranasal administration
    •    Can be used in puppies as young as 3 weeks of age because maternal antibodies do not interfere with localized antibody response
    •    Requires only single-nostril administratio: low dose of 0.5 mL
    •    Provides rapid protection as early as 48 hours post-vaccination
    •    Provides 1-year duration of immunity: the same as injectable vaccines

Rabies
Provides protection against rabies, a preventable viral disease of mammals most often transmitted through the bite of an infected animal.  The state of Texas requires that dogs and cats be vaccinated against rabies by 4 months of age, then given a booster 12 months after the initial vaccination.

Feline Vaccines

FVRPC+FELV
Ultra Fel-O- Fax FVRCP+FELV is a 0.5 mL feline vaccine that provides proven dual-strain calicivirus (FCV) and proven feline leukemia (FeLV) protection resulting in a significantly less vaccine volume over the cat’s lifetime.  Combines with Rhinotracheitis-Calici- Panleukopenia Vaccine, and Panleukopenia for cats 8-10 weeks or older.
Preservatives: Thimerosal, neomycin, polymyxin B and amphotericin B.

Features and Benefits
    •    The first-ever 0.5 mL feline vaccine line designed for a more comfortable vaccine experience
    •    Efficacious disease protection that results in significantly less vaccine volume over the cat's lifetime
    •    Efficacy that passes the same high-level potency tests as Fel-O- Vax®, a brand that's been trusted for more than 30 years
    •    Exclusive dual-strain calicivirus (FCV) and proven feline leukemia (FeLV) protection

Rabies
Provides protection against rabies, a preventable viral disease of mammals most often transmitted through the bite of an infected animal.  The state of Texas requires that dogs and cats be vaccinated against rabies by 4 months of age, then given a booster 12 months after the initial vaccination.
